2nd NATIONAL ORGANIC AGRICULTURE SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

GUIDELINES FOR THE 2ND NATIONAL ORGANIC AGRICULTURE SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE: COMMERCIAL BOOTH

"GO ORGANIC… FOR HEALTH, RESILIENCY, AND SUSTAINABILITY"
February 16 to 20, 2016 at Visayas State University, Baybay Leyte


The ORGANIC AGRICULTURE SOCIETY OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. is organizing this conference to gather again in one place experts on organic agriculture among its more than 200 members and friends in the State Universities & Colleges, government agencies’ and local government units’ focal persons in Organic Agriculture, experts and farmers practicing OA, input suppliers for organic products and distributors of organic produce. The first National Organic Agriculture Scientific Conference was held at the Benguet State University, with more than 200 experts from all over the Philippines presenting more than 60 scientific papers on OA.  The outstanding papers are being published by the OASP in a Scientific Journal on OA and will be disseminated nationwide and to foreign institutions. The OASP welcomes you to be part of the 2nd Conference at Baybay City, Leyte.  It will definitely be a great opportunity for you as OA product and technology supplier to promote your products and services to the target market that will expand your market reach in a very short time and in one place.  Your investment in time and money will definitely strengthen your market reach.  The expected participants of 200 to 300 persons are experts in their field and many are practitioners in Organic Agriculture.  Focal persons in government offices and SUCs will promote your good products and services effectively.  COMMERCIAL BOOTH LAY-OUT
 A.  Lay-out for 20 booths at the Visayas State University will be available. (exact location to be identified later; please Mr. Olegario “Jun” Paredes Jr. at this  mobile phone number 0926-898-7082
  B.  Size is 2 meters deep x 3 meters wide.  A backboard rack 3 meters wide x 2.4 meters high will be provided as backdrop for company tarpaulins.  Two monoblock chairs will be provided. Please provide your own table and display racks. Electricity double outlets and two fluorescent lamps 40 watts will be provided. Your company logo and name will be printed on a tarpaulin 12 inches x 72 inches long.  Please submit your high resolution design for printing by OASP not later than January 30, 2016.  Please email to :  oasp.001@gmail.com; oasp.conference2016@gmail.com
COMMERCIAL BOOTH RATES

 There will be 20 commercial booths at 2 meters x 3 meters per unit.  The rental per unit is P10,000.00. Please select and communicate your desired location early. Payment in full should be made upon reservation.  This should be done not later than February 10, 2016. Each booth unit is entitled to two company staff to man the booth during the three-day conference.  IDs will be issued to them.  Please submit their complete name upon payment of your rental.  Each company can provide their product brochures for inclusion in the Conference Kit bag.  Please submit your brochures not later than February 10, 2016.  Please send by courier to Dr. Francisco Gabunada,  OASP VSU Secretariat.  VSU, Baybay City, Leyte.  Cell No. 0905-9132929.   COMPANY BROCHURE DISPLAY
 For companies who can not send their representative to man a booth, the OASP has a booth for company brochures to be displayed and distributed during the whole duration of the Conference or up to supply last.  The rate will be P2,000 for the first brochure and P1,000 per brochure thereafter.  We request at least 300 copies of each brochure.  It is recommended to attach the calling card of the contact person from your company.  Brochures should be mailed to reach OASP Secretariat before February 10, 2016.  Please mail all brochures at your expense to :  OASP VSU Secretariat, Dr. Francisco Gabunada,  OASP VSU Secretariat.  VSU, Baybay City, Leyte with email address: fgabunada@gmail.com and Cell No. 0905-9132929 or Dr. Joe L.  OASP shall not be responsible for late arrival of your brochures.  Payment in full should be received by OASP not later than January 31, 2016. Tarpaulin Display.  For a 2 feet x 5 feet tarpaulin display, we will have space for six units.  P2,000 will be charged per unit.  This will be displayed at the Brochure Display Booth backboard.

 Start: February 19, 2016. Friday  5pm  up to 8pm.
End: February 20, Saturday, 8am to 12 noon.
 For those requiring assistance in transportation arrangement from VSU to Tacloban or Ormoc should inform the OASP Secretariat at VSU venue.  Please contact Mr. Jun Paredes.  All payment for the commercial booth and brochure display service should be addressed to the Organic Agriculture Society of the Philippines, Inc. An official receipt shall be given to you at the exhibition venue at VSU. BOARD AND LODGING FOR EXHIBIT STAFF
 Arrangement for board and lodging should be made with Ms. Mitch Razo at the latest on January 30, 2016.  Please refer to the list of hotels and guest houses available with their rates and room accommodation standard facilities.  Meals are available on site.   Please see attached list with rates and contact numbers and contact person.  You may also book your reservation and pay directly. Policies of the hotels and guest houses shall be according to each facility.  OASP shall not be liable for any misunderstanding for direct bookings. But OASP will assist you if you encounter problems if you notify OASP early. 
 CANCELLED RESERVATION FOR BOOTH
 Cancellation should be communicated in writing to Ms. Mitch Razo.  Full refund will be made less bank charges, if any, if cancellation is done on or before January 25, 2016.  50% refund will be made for cancellation on or before January 31, 2016.  No refund will be made after January 31, 2016. MEALS DURING EXHIBIT DAYS

2nd National Organic Agriculture Society of the Philippines Inc. 


The 2nd National Organic Agriculture Society of the Philippines Inc., themed "Go Organic... for Healthy, Resiliency and Sustainability" will be held on February 16 to 20, 2016 at Visayas State University, Baybay, Leyte . 200 to 300 participants are expected to attend on this conference.
